How to set up WinMX, Vista Style.

Once you have installed WinMX but when you download a song and click “Open File Location” you get an error message saying “Access is denied”.  This should fix that problem..

Simply go into settings in WinMX:



Once in the settings click “File Transfer” along the left hand side (see below).
Now if you look on the left hand side you see “Incoming Files Folders”



Click Change and select in the list “*Your User Name*(the name of your profile)” Then click “Downloads”

It should look something like this:



Click “OK”.

Now your downloads will Save to (this is an example only as some people use different locations):  C:\Users\*Your User Name*\Downloads
