MxControl - RoboMX Release Index 0

Return To MxControl Index

Some of you have asked what the differences are between the various RoboMX versions and so I have created a series of indexs to allow you to see the various changes initially from my own perspective and then as they where posted by Bender the MxControl Project lead.

I have added some images throughout the index pages to show some of the cool features but unfortunately there's no room here to show them all.

There are some variants and unofficial releases made by the project to be found in the site Archive.

In the begining...

RoboMX 0.5

++++++++++++++++

This release fixes a lot of issues and some minor feature improvements.

This might be the last release of RoboMX, although you should never say no ;) It's been fun.
For a almost complete list of changes read the full story.

Bugfixes:
+ Crashbug on long shared file list
+ Crashbug on PM / Browse
+ User loosing operator status on rename in RoboMX server
+ Fixed channellist menu

New:
+ 3 color presets to choose from and new default theme
+ Look&Feel update, cleaned up menus, lists etc
+ Browse view now Displays bitrate, length and samplerate for audiofiles, can now refresh, show/hide path, send PM from browse view
+ Animations in PM and Browseview can now be disabled
+ Advanced WPN Setup: Completly disable WPN Support, Force connection to a specific primary node, or get a random Node from the WinMX Peer Cache server
+ All window positions are now saved across sessions (can be disabled)
+ Several new commands for operators in a RoboMX hosted room (see robomx-server-commands.txt)
+ Roomserver can now save and load configurations (including bans)
+ RoboMX is now compatible with MCMA hosted rooms but your color-sheme will not work correctly due to the crappy way MCMA implements colored text (Join a MCMA room with WinMX using the Dark-Text/Light Background color-scheme and you will see what I mean ;) )

and and and :)

There are some new hidden fun features, you just need to find them ;)

Also: Take a look in the about dialog for a wedding picture :)
