The OpenNap Direct Browse System

This section is to review the operation of the OpenNap Client direct browse system, this is a different method to the normal server based routine and so requires its own guide.

This diagram provides a visual overview of the OpenNap Server management aspect.

The Requesting Client sends a "Direct Browse Request" packet <640> to the Server and in return the Server will pass on the request using a further <640> packet to the remote Client.
If both clients are firewalled or the remote Client has no files shared an error notification packet <642>will be send from the server to the initial requesting Client

If the remote Client is happy to be browsed they will broadcast a <641> "Browse Request Accept Notiification" packet to the Server so the server can indicate to the requesting Client the dataport and IP data.
